The Voice and Accountability project empowers Social Accountability Committees (SACs) to identify and report education issues in 45 schools. SACs engage with school authorities, local government, the Ministry of Education, and other stakeholders through regular meetings to address challenges such as construction and renovation, safe school plans implementation, textbook delivery, school grants and budgets, and teacher and pupil absenteeism. Success is measured by the percentage of issues resolved by local authorities, highlighting the impact of community-led monitoring on education service delivery.
